DESIGN EXPERIENCE

SNAP-ON x SCAD PRO COLLABORATION

SCAD Pro Sponsored Collaboration | Savannah, GA | Fall, 2020

Outcome: This 10-week group project was in collaboration with the Snap-On tool company to design a line of cycling tools geared towards their European tool brand Bahco. Through intensive contextual research, ideation, and multiple rounds of user testing, we proposed 12 design concepts to Snap-On with each of these products being designed towards the professional bike mechanic and the professional racing community.

NIKE SUNDEFENSE

Market Place Study | Savannah, GA | Fall, 2020

Outcome: This 5-week long group project was in collaboration with three different majors at SCAD. My portion of this project was to design a line of sun protection for professional athletes through contextual research, ideation sketching, 3D model and prototyping, as well as some user testing with the 3D prints. After some amazing feedback, we have brought this to a final design stage and shot a vision video as well.

THE OMRON HEARTH

Innovative Materials | Savannah, GA | Winter 2020

Outcome: This 5-week group project's challenge was to redesign the Omron 5 series blood pressure monitor. Through contextual research, interviews, and benchmarking we crafted insights into what was missing within the heart rate monitor product at this time and designed a conceptual solution. Through sketch ideation and 3D modeling, we presented our concept and received positive feedback with our solution.

TRANSPORTATION OF THE FUTURE

Product Form | Savannah, GA | Fall, 2019

Outcome: Designed a roof to roof public transportation system utilizing Dyson blade technology within an engine. This two-week-long project started from a baseline contextual research, benchmarking, sketch ideation, then the final process of 3D modeling using Solid works, rendering with Key shot, and a final presentation.

1st MATE ABOARD SCHOONER MADELEINE

Classic Cruises of Newport | Newport, RI | 2018 – 2019

While aboard the schooner Madeleine my duties were to help sail the vessel safely in and out of the harbor as well as give a rich history of our shores. This experience demands clear communication between crew all the while creating an enjoyable experience for the guests aboard.

EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Tabor Boy | Marion, MA | 2014 – 2016

While aboard the SSV Tabor Boy, during my junior and senior year, I was the executive officer. The executive officer, XO for short, is in charge of running the deck and organizing all students on board. This included 22 students on board while we were sailing as our max coastguard capacity is 24 and 40 students in total whom I was in charge of organizing while they were not sailing on the vessel.
